Nach der Abtrennung des Coupes in eine neue Reihe folgt nun auch der M4: Neuer Name für das BMW M3 Coupe.

BMW M4 Coupe - 431 PS (+11) sind beim M4 Coupe nicht die wichtigste Zahl. Das Drehmoment von 550 Nm (+150) ist da viel interessanter.

BMW M4 Coupe - Die Power holt BMW nun aus einem aufgeladenen Sechszylinder mit 2.997 ccm Hubraum, nicht mehr aus einem V8.

BMW M4 Coupe - Das tut dem Gewicht gut. Das Leergewicht nach EU (mit Fahrer) liegt nun bei schmalen 1.572 Kilogramm für die Schaltversion. Das sind etwa 80 kg weniger als beim Vorgänger.

BMW M4 Coupe - Die Veränderungen am Modell führen zu traumhaften Beschleunigungswerten von 4,3 Sekunden für die Schaltversion und 4,1 Sekunden beim 7-Gang Doppelkupplungsgetriebe.

BMW M4 Coupe - Auch der Normverbrauch kann sich sehen lassen: 8,8 Liter für den Schalter und 8,3 Liter für die Automatik.

BMW M4 Coupe - Bei der Standardversion des M4 ist die Höchstgeschwindigkeit bei 250 abgeregelt. Mit Performance-Paket ist er offen.

BMW M4 Coupe - Alles in allem: Der wohl größte Sprung des M3 seit zwei Generationen.
